TANYA ACQUISTA

Tanya Acquista is a children’s book author and speech-language pathologist from New York. Reading was a nightly ritual in her childhood, and now she has passed this routine on to her two beautiful boys. One evening, while reading a children’s book to her one son at the time, she thought of an idea and a rhyme scheme. That is how Tanya Acquista started her journey as a children’s book author.


Tanya believes in the powerful messages of children’s books. Her first two books, “Money Time” and “Have You Seen My Voice Box?” were inspired by her clients and the children in her life. Both stories provide children with a tangible way to think about certain concepts (e.g. time management and finding your voice/regaining your confidence and purpose) using colorful language and metaphors. Tanya’s books are a perfect addition to your home library, a classroom, a speech and language therapy room, and a counselor/guidance counselor office. She is delighted to have you embark on an adventure with her and plans to continue her writing journey for years to come.
